North star / How the practice runs
Influence is earned and can be lost
Weight follows the evidence, and goes when the evidence goes.
No idea has influence by default. An idea earns weight with proof, and the work is designed to take that weight away when the measured edge fades, without anyone having to notice.
Getting weight back is harder than losing it. A cut weight returns only on a fresh block of independent evidence, so the work follows real change and does not swing on noise.
